...for the 12 specific Spectrochrome colors per the Dinshah system.   This is for one set of Supergels - colored light filters by Rosco - this is one batch of several color gel sheets, about 8x10 size, with each one labeled and the combinations for all 12 colors in a list. These are colors per the Dinshah book. This is not the same Rosco colors named in the original book from 1979 as those filter colors were selected for incandescents. This is the UPDATED filter color set for use ONLY with LED daylight bulbs (5000K or 6500K color common), to produce the SAME colors that the 1979 book discusses.

Color and light therapy

SHORTER DAYS - During the fall and winter, the shorter daylight hours often means we are exposed to less sunlight. We need exposure to full spectrum light routinely to be healthy. For example, cholesterol in our skin is transformed into needed Vitamin D when you take a 10 minute walk in daylight.. This is always possible where there is a lot of sunshine, but less sun can result in too much cholesterol and too little vitamin D. Or moods change - depression and mood drops are more common during fall and winter.

Colored light gels can improve mood. A gel is a colored plastic sheet about 6x6 can be used to put over a reading lamp - pick a color you love and sit under it for a few minutes with the light on your face. Jean has several gels for sale - inquire if you want a specific color. A 8x10 sheet can be easily sent via USPS  mail. If you want to cut up the sheet you can make it fit your lamp, and use the smaller pieces over a flashlight to do spot treatments.

SHIFT WORKERS - often suffer from sleep deprivation and mood problems, plus Vitamin D deficiency. Blue light is very helpful for waking up at odd hours to work graveyard shifts.
